Capable leadership means having contacts with workers, being knowledgeable in Trade Unions Laws, Labour Laws and labour rights, labour standards, having skill in motivating the workers to become unionized. NWUC and it’s affiliated unions has still a lack of this type of leaders. The number of knowledgeable leaders should be increased by giving the potential leaders of NWUC & it’s affiliated sector union leadership orientation training on how to run a union effectively for the establishment of workers right and welfare.
Through the BNS-CNV Vakmensen supported programs NWUC, garments, domestic workers and it’s affiliated unions structure, services and actions will be strengthened, their membership will be increased and thus also its weight, power and impact to change the socio and economic situation of the workers will be stronger.
Through the BNS-CNV Vakmensen program,NWUC as well as it’s affiliated unions will be a trade union respected and known by its members and the workers of Bangladesh for good services, practices and actions. There will be an awareness established among its membership regarding workers rights, the labour laws, the necessity and the content of CBA’s, and the work that NWUC does for their interest.
The NWUC will have a pool of leaders with the capacity of running the organization and of defending, protecting the workers rights and of improving the workers socio economic situation through adequate and efficient actions.
